Agaga Praise Kukeurim, known professionally as Yadah, is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader celebrated for her powerful worship anthems and heartfelt declarations of God’s love, mercy, and grace. She was born on January 5, 1996 in Abuja, Nigeria, and hails from Obanliku Local Government Area of Cross River State. Growing up in a Christian home, Yadah developed a strong passion for music and worship from an early age, often participating in her church choir and devotional gatherings.
Yadah officially began her music career in 2017 with the release of her debut single “Goodie Goodie,” which introduced her to the Nigerian gospel scene. Her breakthrough came in 2019 with the worship anthem “Beyond Me,” a song of gratitude and awe that quickly gained widespread acceptance in churches and Christian gatherings both in Nigeria and internationally.
She has released multiple well-received songs and projects over the years, such as “Free of Charge,” “Onye Inaputara,” “Out of Nothing,” and her album The Love Story (2021), which further solidified her place as one of the leading voices in contemporary Nigerian gospel music. Yadah’s music blends gospel and contemporary worship influences, often infused with Afro-pop and R&B elements that help convey messages of hope, salvation, and thanksgiving through rich melodies and sincere lyrics.
Beyond her music, Yadah also expresses creativity through fashion as a designer, with a fashion brand that reflects her personality and cultural roots.
In her personal life, Yadah married Okafor Chinonso Daniel, her long-time manager and CEO of her record label, on October 21, 2023, the same day she released an EP titled When a Believer Loves — a project dedicated to love and faith.
Today, Yadah continues to minister through music, leading worship at events, concerts, and church services around the world, inspiring many with her message of God’s grace and unwavering faith.
