Pelumi Deborah is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader whose music blends heartfelt worship, contemporary gospel sounds, and rich African spiritual expression. She was born on August 20, 1997, in Oyo State, Nigeria, and was raised by her grandparents, who were both music ministers. Growing up in a deeply Christian and music-oriented environment, she began singing in her church choir at the age of four.

She officially stepped into the gospel music scene in 2023 with her debut single “Erujeje (The Fearsome One)”, a powerful worship sound infused with Yoruba chants and strong spiritual reverence. The song gained wide attention and introduced her as a fresh and anointed voice in Nigerian gospel music. She went on to release other impactful songs such as “Aanu (Mercy),” “Niwaju Oba,” and “Omo’ba,” which further showcased her vocal depth and worship identity.
In April 2025, Pelumi Deborah released her debut album titled My King and I, a 10-track project that firmly positioned her among the growing generation of influential gospel artists in Nigeria. Her sound is often described as a blend of Contemporary Gospel, Nigerian Gospel, and Worship, fusing modern instrumentation with traditional African worship elements.

Beyond music, Pelumi views her artistry as a ministry and a calling — aiming to draw listeners into deeper intimacy with God through her worship expressions. Her sincerity, vocal purity, and spiritual intensity have earned her a fast-growing audience across Nigeria and beyond.
