Nathaniel Bassey (born 27 August 1981) is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, trumpeter, and pastor from Akwa Ibom State. He began his music career as a jazz trumpeter before transitioning into gospel music. Known for powerful worship songs like Imela, Onise Iyanu, and Olowogbogboro, he has become one of Africa’s leading worship leaders.

He studied International Relations at the University of Lagos and later took a music course at Middlesex University, UK. Nathaniel serves as a pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and is the founder of the Hallelujah Challenge, a global online worship movement.

Married to Sarah Bassey, he has released several albums, including This God Is Too Good, Revival Flames, The King Is Coming, Hallelujah Again, and Names of God. His music blends worship, gospel, and jazz, emphasizing deep spirituality and the presence of God.
