INFORMATION
Gateway Worship is an American contemporary Christian worship music collective and ministry that serves Gateway Church, a large non-denominational congregation based in Southlake, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth area). Founded in 2003, the worship team has grown from leading a few hundred people to ministering to tens of thousands weekly through church services and global online audiences.
Gateway Worship is not a single band but a collective of worship pastors, songwriters, vocalists, and musicians drawn from the church’s worship ministry. Over the years, leaders such as Thomas Miller (the original senior worship pastor), Mark Harris (former 4Him member and senior worship pastor), David Moore, Walker Beach, Zach Neese, and others have helped shape the sound and direction of the collective. The team also includes various associate worship pastors and contributors who rotate in leading and recording.

Their music is rooted in contemporary worship, emphasizing heartfelt, Christ-centered lyrics, strong biblical themes, and congregational accessibility. Songs from Gateway Worship are written to help people encounter God deeply, celebrate His presence, and express faith, praise, and devotion. This sound has made many of their songs staples in church worship services around the world.
Gateway Worship rose to wider recognition with live worship albums like Living for You (2006) and Wake Up the World (2008), the latter reaching No. 2 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. They continued to build influence with projects such as God Be Praised, Forever Yours, and Walls — the latter hitting No. 1 on the same Billboard chart. More recent live albums include Completely Abandoned and Crowns Down (both released in the early 2020s).
One of Gateway Worship’s most enduring contributions to modern worship is the song “Revelation Song,” popularized globally in part by worship leader Kari Jobe (who was associated with Gateway Church). Other widely sung songs include The More I Seek You, You, You Are God, and Come Thou Fount, Come Thou King.

Over the decades, Gateway Worship has maintained a focus on Spirit-empowered, Bible-based worship that prioritizes God’s presence over performance. Their music is characterized by passionate praise, intimate worship moments, and a desire to lead believers into deeper spiritual encounters.
Through live recordings, tours, and global streaming, Gateway Worship continues to influence church worship practices worldwide, with many of their songs translated into various languages and embraced by congregations across cultures.
