Anendlessocean, whose real name is Ayobami Emmanuel Alli-Hakeem, is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and music producer known for his unique blend of gospel, soul, R&B, and alternative music. Born on August 10, 1996, to parents of Yoruba and Edo heritage, he spent much of his early life in Abuja, Nigeria. A defining moment in his childhood was the loss of his mother when he was 14 years old, an experience that deeply influenced his outlook on life and the emotional depth of his music.
He developed an interest in music through church activities, where he honed his singing and songwriting skills. Alongside his passion for music, he pursued higher education and earned a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Federal University of Petroleum Resources. Despite his engineering background, his passion for music remained strong, leading him to pursue a career in the creative industry.
Anendlessocean began gaining attention with the release of his debut single, Falala, in 2018. However, it was the release of Alakori in 2020 that brought him wider recognition among gospel music listeners. His ability to combine thoughtful lyrics, soothing melodies, and contemporary sounds quickly distinguished him within Nigeria’s gospel music scene.
In 2021, he released the EP Apeirogon, a project that earned critical acclaim for its introspective themes and innovative sound. The success of the project established him as one of the leading voices in contemporary gospel music. He continued building on this momentum with projects such as Decagon, Hexagon, Octagon, and Sceptre, each showcasing his growth as an artist and producer.
The stage name “Anendlessocean” reflects his belief in the infinite nature of God’s love, grace, and creativity. Through songs such as Domino, Nazarene, Gratitude, and Lmly, he has continued to inspire listeners with music that is spiritually uplifting, emotionally resonant, and artistically distinctive. Today, he is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in Nigeria’s modern gospel music movement, celebrated for redefining gospel music through creativity, authenticity, and deep faith.
