CeCe Winans (born Priscilla Marie Winans on October 8, 1964) is an American gospel singer widely regarded as one of the most successful and influential female gospel artists of all time. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA, into the renowned Winans family, a musical family deeply rooted in gospel music. CeCe first gained prominence in the 1980s as one-half of the sibling duo BeBe & CeCe Winans, whose crossover success brought gospel into a broader mainstream audience.
She launched her solo career in 1995 with the live worship album Alone in His Presence, which sold over a million copies and earned her a Grammy Award along with multiple Dove Awards.
